- 01Spark plugsFire the air and fuel mix in each cylinder. Most modern engines use iridium or platinum plugs with long service intervals.
- 02Ignition coilTurns battery voltage into the high voltage a spark plug needs. Many engines have one coil per cylinder.

Before you order
- Spark plug heat range and gap are set by the engine maker. Use the plug listed for your engine, not a near match.
- On coil-on-plug engines a misfire code names the cylinder, which tells you which coil or plug to check first.
